We would like you to meet Noemie, a native French speaker with an amazing background in cooking and teaching. For more than ten years, Noemie worked as a restaurant manager and chef in several restaurants in Paris, Geneva, Berlin, and Lyon.

Noemie started her teaching career in Moscow and currently works as a French teacher at P'titCREF Rublievo. She teaches the P'tits Cuistots workshop there as well. At our Arbat School, Noemie will cook with children every Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15. Put on your aprons and join our merry kitchen with P'tits Cuistots!

Children will work on fun recipes that match the calendar of seasonal products and international food festivals. They will not only cook and taste, but practice good table manners, as well. They will also learn to play with taste, to set a table, and to present food to make it look appealing. Our little chefs will play culinary games to make scientific discoveries and to become aware of kitchen safety rules. Children will enhance their vocabulary and master their spoken French, all while improving their fine motor skills. Working on a recipe, they learn about time being structured in stages, about math concepts such as ranking and order, and about French gastronomic culture. Several objectives of this extracurricular workshop are aimed at social skills like sharing, cooking dishes for others to taste, helping classmates, and assisting the teacher. It is a great opportunity for young children to develop sensorially (all 5 senses are involved), psychologically (satisfaction, success), and intellectually.
