P'titCREF a Gardian to the South American Coati

Visitors to the Moscow Zoo can observe coatis at an open habitat beside the bridge to the New Territory. They also have a back bedroom area. It is a fascinating experience to watch these sociable tree-climbers. The coati is in constant motion.
There are four coatis that call the Moscow Zoo home. P'titCREF is a guardian to the only male in the group. The Guarding Program helps to raise much needed funds, contributing to the care and upkeep of animals like the coati.
Our ward was born in 2014 and is of mischievous nature. Just like all other coatis he loves digging, scampering across a log and swinging in a basket.
Children will be able to visit it and feed it. This week we will be voting on a new name for our friend. With your children, think of names together and post it on our Facebook page, whichever name gets the most likes will win! Best of luck to you all!
